Lost in London!

So we spent much of yesterday on our own as Carolyn and Hugh took master Bennett for a Drs. Appointment.  We headed out with a well mapped out plan and the first few stops went  okay (Marks and Spencers and of course a bike shop).  Then we stopped to consult our map and promptly realized we  had left home without it!  So we hoped on a tube, a bus, another tube, switched tubes and finally made it home.  The good news is we got a wonderful view of the city from the top of the double decker bus, so all was good in the end!  When we made it home we went to Hyde park for a walk and a little game of "football" in the park.  All in all a great day, the weather was beautiful.  Today we are heading off on the tube to catch a train to Bath.  We have a 4 pm tour of Stonehenge planned and then back to Bath for the evening.  Pictures and details to follow when we return.....

  1. Another busy day. Bet the kids loved the double decker buses. When you are in the tube station pick up the bicycle map as when your Mom and I were looking at maps a biker said it is one of the better ones to see the city. Your Mom may have already mentioned this. Have a great time in bath.

  4. So, about this BATH? Don't they have them in the flats of London? Do you really have to travel to another part of England to have one?
